The Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club welcomes new members. The Board of YPRC is committed to incorporating the values of diversity, equity and inclusion in the governance and operations of the club. The Club offers a full program of member-led paddles, skills sessions and day trips, and provides full equipment for use during club events.
In addition, members have access to:
Membership and storage dues cover from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. For existing members, invoices are sent out mid-April and are due by May 1 of that same year. We request that you pay electronically.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Individual – $175 a year; age 23+
Family – $225 a year; adult couples (spouses or partners) and any children under the age of eighteen years.
Young Adult - $100 a year (ages 18 – 22); eligible to vote in board elections / no keys to the boathouse
Junior – $30 a year (ages 12 to 17 years old); a young person who joins individually. Parent or guardian must sign waiver. Not eligible to vote in board elections / no keys to the boathouse.
The Club has a Commodores Fund for those individuals or families that may require financial assistance; please email treasurer@yprc.org for details.

- YPRC’s historic boathouse on the river at 19 Alexander Street. There are 82 berths for members boats and storage for our 40 club-owned boats.
- The Club’s boat-building workshop (fee required for class) and a 100+ kayak storage facility at JFK Marina in North Yonkers
- A cabin and kayaks at the American Canoe Association Camp at Lake Sebago in Harriman State Park. A separate membership to the ACA is required to use our facilities there.

YPRC strongly recommends joining and supporting the American Canoe Association (ACA). Activities at the Lake Sebago Camp and use of the YPRC club cabin are for ACA members only.
